WILKES BARRE - The Mountain View Lady Eagles saw their season come to an end at the hands of Holy Redeemer Monday evening. The Lady Royals poured 12 runs across the plate in the third inning, ending the game with a final score of 17-0.

Holy Redeemer had just five hits, but took advantage of a dozen walks and five Mountain View errors to score their runs.

Anabelle Bowman started in the circle for the Lady Eagles, striking out three in two and two-thirds. She allowed 13 runs - 12 earned on three hits and 12 walks.

Gianna Gravine came on in relief, giving up four unearned runs on two hits, before the Lady Royals ended the game under mercy rule.

Izzy Hobart and Sophia Davis recorded the only Mountain View hits in the contest as Holy Redeemer starting pitcher Anne Carter stifled  their bats to pick up the win.
