NEW MILFORD - Hudson Bain needed just 79 pitches to navigate through seven innings Monday evening. The junior notched the complete game victory over Blue Ridge as Mountain View picked up their twelfth win of the season with a final score of 8-3.

Ziggy Bradford led the game off with a single as the Eagles scored three runs in the first on just one hit.

The Raiders pushed a pair of runs across in the bottom of the fourth as Brayden Smith and Brandon Carpenetti each had a single, and Brendan Marvin stroked a double in the frame.

Mountain View answered with three runs in the top of the fifth, as Bradford, Jackson Gesford and Josh Miller started the inning with three consecutive singles and all eventually scored.

Gehrig Dibble crushed a solo home run to center field as the Raiders got a run back, making it 6-3.

Nick Beach started the sixth with a double, Miller collected his second hit of the ball game as the Eagles plated a pair, extending their lead to 8-3.

Bain retried the Raiders in order in the sixth and seventh innings, as Mountain View takes home the 8-3 victory.

Bain struck out eight in the win, he allowed three runs on four hits and a walk.

Matt Davis started for Blue Ridge and took the loss. He surrendered eight runs - four earned, on six hits and three walks, while striking out a pair.

Bradford and Miller each had a pair of singles, Bradford scored a trio of runs, while Miller scored twice and drove one in.

Gesford also had a hit, scored a pair of runs and drove in another, while Beach doubled for the other Eagle hit and Aidan McCloskey scored a run.

Dibble cracked a homer for his RBI and run scored, while Smith and Marvin each had a hit and scored a run.

Carpenetti notched the other Blue Ridge hit, while Travis Rutter and Brian Derrick each had a RBI.
