WYALUSING - The Mountain View track and field team competed in the prestigious Lasagna Invitational in Wyalsuing Friday evening. The event features 27 teams and over 800 athletes and runs late into the night.

The Eagles had some good individual performances and also had a pair of relay teams place in the top 10.

Jacob Ficarro was the highest individual finisher for Mountain View, placing sixth in the Long Jump with a distance of 19 feet 4.25 inches.

Michael Beach finished seventh in the 1600 meter run with a time of four minutes 38.93 seconds.

The Eagles 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Sean Larkin, Aiden Beavers, Alister Beavers and Cavan Roach took eight place finishing in three minutes 59.35 seconds.

On the girls side Rhys Evans captured eighth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.04 seconds.

Demi Messner also took home an eighth place finish for the Lady Eagles in the Long Jump, jumping 14 feet eight inches.

The Lady Eagles 4x100 Meter Relay team finished in fourth place with a time of 53.09 seconds. The relay team is made up of Brooklyn Anderson, Messner, Riley Turner and Evans.
