SusCo Sports Report
The boys quarterfinal action gets started tonight, with four different games on the docket for the Susco teams. The winners will advance to the semifinals on Saturday afternoon.

BOYS BASKETBALL AA QUARTERFINALS
7:00-(#7)Forest City @ (#2)Mountain View- The Eagles enter the playoffs on a three game win streak. They easily dispatched of the Foresters in their regular season meetings, winning 56-40 on Jan. 16 and 65-41 on Feb. 11. If they are victorious they will host the winner of the (#6)Susquehanna @ (#3)Lackawanna Trail game on Friday night.

6:30-(#6)Susquehanna @ (#3)Lackawanna Trail- The Sabers come into the contest playing their best basketball of the season, winning four of their last five games down the stretch. The return of sophomore Mason Keyes has been a difference maker, giving coach Lawrence Tompkins more scoring options on offense. This game could prove to be one of the best games of the evening, Susquehanna swept the Lions this season defeating them 53-49 at home on Jan. 9, then beating them on the road 46-33 on Feb. 4.

6:00-(#5)Blue Ridge @ (#4)Wyoming Seminary- The Raiders stumbled down the stretch losing five of their last seven games to end the regular season. However coach Wes Parks and his seniors have plenty of playoff experience to draw from. They took care of the Blue Knights easily way back on Dec. 11, winning by a 20 point margin 52-32. The winner will take on the top seeded Blue Devils from Old Forge Friday night at 6:00.

BOYS BASKETBALL AAA QUARTERFINALS
6:30-(#6)Montrose @ (#3)Elk Lake- Undoubtedly the most anticipated matchup of the evening, the Meteors and Warriors will square off for the fourth time this season. Their last battle was quite possibly the most entertaining game I've witnessed on the court this year. The Warriors pulled that one out 71-61. Elk Lake coach John Warnero righted the ship after an 0-2 start the Warriors won 19 of their final 20 games. The Meteors have been a streaky team with three winning and losing streaks of three games or more during the season. However head coach Tracey McComb has turned the program around, leading them to a winning season after a dismal year last year. The winner will likely face basketball powerhouse Holy Cross on Friday.
