SUSCO - It's the final day of the regular season for girls basketball, with playoffs slated to start next Tuesday Feb. 18. It looks as though nothing will change in the PIAA District II power rankings regardless of the outcomes of tonight's contests.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Susquehanna(2-19) @ Blue Ridge(8-13)- The Lady Raiders play their final game of the season at home. They are currently sixth in the AA power rankings and will likely get Wyoming Seminary in the first round of playoffs. The Lady Sabers are in the five spot for the A power rankings, they will hit the road and play the four seed first round.
Montrose(11-10) @ Elk Lake(19-2)- The Lady Warriors are locked in as the number one team in the AA power rankings. Leah Traver needs 42 points to join the 1,000 point club. The Lady Meteors are fresh off an exciting win over Trail less than 48 hours ago, clinching a winning season for the young Montrose squad. They are pretty firm in the fifth spot of the AAA power rankings.
Carbondale(6-15) @ Mountain View(17-4)- The Eagles recognize their seniors tonight and are a lock in the number two spot for the AA power rankings. They will likely host Lackawanna Trail in the first round.
