SOFTBALL: JOCELYN TRAVER HURLS NO HITTER, KUBLO SISTERS DRIVE IN NINE AS MONTROSE CRUSHES CARBONDALE (2025-05-12)

MONTROSE - Jocelyn Traver made her last start at home a memorable one as the senior tossed a no hitter against Carbondale on senior night. The Lady Meteors gave her plenty of run support pounding out 13 hits on their way to the 15-0 win.
The Kublo sisters accounted for nine RBI in all as the Lady Meteors scored multiple runs in all four innings in the mercy rule victory.
Kyleise Kublo walked to start the game and later scored on MycKenne Kublo's double. MycKenna would eventually score on a single from Alyse Legg to give her team the 2-0 lead.
Senior Rori Gurn walked to start a three run rally in the bottom of the second. Traver followed with a single.
They both came into score on a double from K. Kublo, then M. Kublo brought her sister home with her second double in as many innings.
Montrose used four singles and a pair of walks to score four more runs in the bottom of the third.
The Meteors scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth to end it as Legg, Hannah Fearnley and Gurn started the frame with three straight singles.
K. Kublo capped the inning off with the always exciting inside the park home run. Cara Evans ended the game scoring on an error to give her team the 15-0 victory.
Traver struck out a pair in her four inning no hitter, allowing just a pair of walks in the win.
M. Kublo (3-3) smacked a pair of doubles, driving in four runs and scoring another. Legg (3-3) scored a pair of runs and drove one in.
K. Kublo (2-2) had a homer and a double to go with a team high five RBIs and three runs scored. Traver (2-3) had a pair of RBIs and scored twice.
Gurn (1-1) scored three times and drove in a pair of runs. Krisalyn Welch and Fearnley each had a single and scored a run. Evans and Alyssa Jackson each scored a run as well.
