Lombardi sat the Lady Meteors down in order on 16 pitches in the bottom of the first.

Forest City took advantage of a walk and a pair of Lady Meteors errors to plate another run in the top of the second, making it 2-0.

Gurn stroked a two out double to right in the home half of the second, but was stranded in scoring position.

The Lady Foresters were threatening again in the third, but Welch gunned a runner down at third from centerfield ending the threat.

Montrose carried that momentum to the plate, pumping out six consecutive hits to start the inning, followed by a pair of walks as eight straight reached safely.

Traver, Welch and K. Kublo started the rally with three singles. Evans smashed a 2-1 pitch into centerfield for a double, driving in two runs to tie it at two apiece.

M. Kublo drove in two more with a single up the gut to give the Lady Meteors their first lead of the evening.

Traver scored Legg with a single, then Welch got Gurn home with an RBI groundout to cap off the rally with the Lady Meteors up 8-2.

Evans and M. Kublo each hit a single to start the bottom of the fourth, Evan was however erased getting thrown out trying to swipe third.

Conning came through with a run scoring single to plate M. Kublo. She would come around and score on a passed ball to put her team up 10-3 after four complete.

The score would remain that way til the top of the seventh, after a leadoff walk came around to score on a Kennedy Walker single for Forest City's final run.

Traver would bear down, getting the final three outs via the strikeout, as the Lady Meteors notch their first league win of the season.
