WILKES-BARRE - The Mountain View Eagles had three wrestlers compete at the PIAA District II Wrestling Championships this weekend. Trey Hummel(139), Tanner Holtsmaster(145) and Luke Zipprich(160).

Holtsmaster was the only Eagles grappler to record a victory in the tournament, pinning Lake Lehman's Connor Poulos in 1:16 during the first round of consolations. 

Holtsmaster dropped his next match to Cooper Rusak of Scranton Prep, though he controlled most of the match he was caught and pinned in the second period.
