TUNKHANNOCK - The Eagles matmen made the trek to Wyoming County to wrestle the Tigers of Tunkhannock Thursday night. Tanner Holtsmaster and Luke Zipprich recorded the only two Mountain View wins in the contest, losing by a final of 24-12.

Seven matches failed to send a wrestler from either side out, with the other six weight classes seeing two matches and four forfeits.

Tanner Holtsmaster(145) pinned Jacob Walsh in 1:09 for the first Mountain View victory. Luke Zipprich(160) got his hand raised for the win without breaking a sweat, winning via the forfeit.

Trey Hummel(139) was the only other Mountain View wrestler to compete. He was pinned by Brody Woods in 3:06.
